And I’m a mother to a beautiful little boy who has changed the way I see everything. He is bold, curious discovering the world, always in motion, and overflowing with affection.

Perhaps that is why I’m so drawn to the things that are easily missed.

The weight of a newborn against your chest.

A tiny hand tangled in your hair.

The warmth of skin against skin.

The way a child reaches for you without thinking.

The quiet moments feeling your baby kicking inside you, that somehow become the ones you remember most.

I have always been nostalgic.

For people, for seasons, for the versions of ourselves that only exist for a little while.

Motherhood, to me, is one of those fleeting seasons worth protecting.

My work is slow, instinctive and intimate. I’m interested in what happens between the moments you think are worth photographing. The pause. The touch. It's the steps in between steps that count!

Because one day, they will be bigger.

You will be different.

And this version of you will only exist here.

That is what I want to preserve.
